Marine High Amp Alternator

Marine units are a little tricky, first off many applications require the alternator to be spark arrested or shielded from spark. For safety reasons we only build this design. we can build your stock unit slightly higher, but due to size 100 amps is max. 90% of the time we will opt for a larger case that will bolt into your stock alternators location, or a dual alternator system. we have excellent brackets to make this possible. So the benefits of a dual system? when not using the system turn off the alternator. you never need to worry about having power to make it back to shore. if you stock alternator goes out you have an emergency unit. and you can remove it and install it in you new boat.
